What does FLINTA* mean?

FLINTA* stands for Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans and Agender. The * is meant to include all people who do not identify with the terms mentioned, but are discriminated against because of their gender.

So that means my male friends cannot join?

Not at all! We welcome individuals of all genders, ages, backgrounds and skill levels and look forward to a welcoming and supportive community at the event. Workshops, sessions, and the evening event are open for everyone. Only spots for testing own talks on the stage of Schmidtchen is reserved for FLINTA* speakers.

What does STEM mean?

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Can I get free a free ticket?

Our pricing should not be an obstacle to participation. If you cannot afford the ticket price, let us know,and we will find a solution.

I would love to help and support reher*sal. What can I do?

First of all: Come to our event and let all your colleagues and friends know it is happening :) Moreover, please send all FLINTA*s you would love to see on stage in our direction and encourage them to submit their talk to our Call for Proposal. And last but not least: We are looking for volunteers on the day itself in case you want to support even more.
